HyperJam is a music app from HyperSocial. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit hyperjam.ai, use the app, or contact us. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to selcuk@hypersocial.ai.

Accounts and Google sign-in

If you create an account, Clerk provides authentication. Signing in with Google gives us basic identity information, such as your name, email address, and profile image, to create and manage your account. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or contacts. Our backend stores an account identifier, display name, and creation date.

Music and composer requests

We process the prompts, track code, tempo, and relevant conversation context you submit to generate and edit music. Composer requests, responses, and session information may be stored in our backend to support the experience and diagnose problems. Saved tracks and preferences may also be stored locally on your device. Content shown in public discovery is visible to other users.

Microphone and speech

The app asks permission before using your microphone or speech recognition. Voice instructions are transcribed using Apple speech recognition. The Swift app requests on-device recognition when supported; otherwise recognition may use Apple’s services. Transcribed instructions are used as composer prompts. You can change microphone and speech permissions in iOS Settings.

How information is used and shared

We use information to provide accounts and music features, respond to support requests, maintain the service, and investigate errors or misuse. Service providers process information needed for their role: Clerk for authentication, Convex for backend hosting, Vercel for this website, and AI providers for composition. Depending on the selected composer, prompts and relevant music context may be sent to Anthropic or model providers through OpenRouter. Provider processing and retention depend on the service and configuration in use; please avoid including sensitive personal information in music prompts.

Google and Apple also process information when you use their sign-in or platform services. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Website and support

The landing page’s playable preview generates sound locally in your browser and does not send the notes you play to our backend. We have not added advertising trackers or analytics cookies to this site. Hosting services may process technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. If you email us, we receive the information you include in that message.

Retention and your choices

Account information, composer history, and operational records may remain stored while needed to provide and maintain the service. Local tracks and preferences remain on your device until removed. You can use the guest experience, sign out, and control device permissions. To request access, correction, or deletion of account information, email selcuk@hypersocial.ai. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal obligations, or backup recovery.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Privacy rights and available requests can depend on where you live. Contact us with any concern about your information.

As HyperJam develops, this policy may change. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice when appropriate for material changes.
